Day 8-ITF Doubles Finals, U9/U10, Rookie Tour and NTRP

Day 8 was a busy day at the NBSPO! There were players of all ages and levels out on the courts, from ITF semis in singles and finals in doubles, to U9/U10, to Rookie Tour, to NTRP!

The ITF doubles trophy presentation took place on court. Both finals featured all Canadian teams. On the girls side in a closely contested match, Neda Rahimkhani and Sophie Stanton defeated Elianna Kook and Gianna Oboniye, 7-5, 7-5. The boys final was won by Denny Bao and Connor Church who defeated Jason Huang and Lawrence Ivanow, 6-2, 6-1. An on-court ceremony took place with a representative from National Bank there to present the trophies.

U9/U10s had a great day on the courts, playing hard and having fun. Rookie Tour was also lots of fun as kids get to grips with tournament play in a fun format that gives them lots of match experience!
