Day 0: Preparing for Launch, NBSPO 2023

Any sizable event takes meticulous planning to make it all seem effortless, and the 2023 National Bank Stanley Park Open is no exception. The planning began as the 2022 tournament was wrapping up! It’s hard to believe it’s been one year already, but here we all are anticipating the biggest and best NBSPO yet, Tennis BC’s flagship tournament!

This year, Tennis BC is excited to partner with our new title sponsor, National Bank. There are so many first-time events for 2023, it’s hard to know where to start! This year marks the largest number of entrants ever and they will be playing on the newly resurfaced courts provided by National Bank and Tennis Canada’s Play Your Court initiative. It also marks the first year of livestreaming (courts 1-6) and live scoring—so you can follow show-court matches as they happen—even if you can’t get down to the park.

The J100 ITF marks its return for 2023, and the first ever National Bank Girls.Set.Match. to be held at the NBSPO will be taking place on Friday, July 7. Another event of note no BC tennis fan will have missed is the Laver Cup coming to Vancouver in September of 2023, but what you might not know is, not only is Laver Cup providing tickets for winners in the Open, NTRP and Parent and Child Doubles, but they are also offering a raffle prize package for Laver Cup!

The winner will receive two great lower-level multi-session tickets to Laver Cup Vancouver 2023 at Rogers Arena from September 22-24 for all five sessions of the event. It’s your chance to see six of the best men’s tennis players from Europe take on six of the best from the rest of the world.  The tickets may be transferred by session to friends but not resold.  The value of this package is $2,850.
