Day 2 and the sun was shining in Stanley Park as the NTRP players battled out some of their first rounds. Meanwhile, some of the J100 ITF players took to the courts to qualify for the main draw.
It was a great day of great tennis with lots of matches played – every court was in use all day to the last of the daylight hours. Players took advantage of the new-this-year shady players’ lounge to relax while they waited for the next court up.
Also new this year, a live feed screen to show when courts will become available so players can prepare better for their match time.
Sunday brings more NTRP and J100 qualifying and more great weather! J100 Players will be looking forward to their player social in the evening! Spectators can check out the newly renovated beer garden at Stanley Park Brewing and their new Tennis Elbow IPA! What could be nicer?
