Day 6 was a busy day for the U10s with the first day of singles play for boys and girls! There were 36 matches played in the morning with 32 competitors on deck for the green-dot ball round robin. Also taking place in the early hours was the ITF Juniors Singles round of 16. There was some great tennis played with close match-ups for boys and girls in singles. Girls’ doubles put on a great performance with some close battles.
Later in the day, the 3.5 Star Juniors took to the courts under the sunny skies. There were 44 matches played today alone and this category started with 128 competitors in the draw.
ITF Juniors action continued on day 6. It’s great to see this regular fixture in the Lower Mainland’s ITF calendar up and running again for the first time since 2019 and the pandemic shutdown. Finals are coming up on the weekend! Check this space for updates!
Also on deck in the evening, NTRP action took place and concluded as the sun set on another great day filled with tennis at the LWSPO.
