Day 15 - Nearing the Home Stretch

Day 15 provided lots of tennis drama, from Open Doubles and Singles quarter finals to NJOS Finals – Friday was a showcase for homegrown tennis talent.

Often, the focus is on the main event, however the kids provided lots of great tennis matches too as the NJOS wrapped up. These young athletes battled for every single point, showing grace under pressure, and providing gripping sporting drama as many finals went to the third set 10-point tiebreaker. It’s great to see the level of play and to see their friends cheering them on.

Open and NTRP are ongoing with lots of matches played today as we get closer to the finals this weekend.

Weather was, once again, perfect. The beer garden was packed all day, and the stands on the show courts drew crowds that grew as the drama heightened.

Saturday and Sunday are shaping up to provide event better entertainment for fans and casual spectators alike.
