Day 3 – J100 ITF Qualifying, Players’ Dinner, and NTRP

Day 3 was a hot one! The J100 ITF qualifying continued today and NTRP matches also took place. Matches started at 9:00 am, and the last NTRP match finished at 9:30 pm! It was a long day for tournament staff and volunteers!

The new players’ lounge was used to beat the heat, giving a welcome respite from the hottest part of the year so far, while others took advantage of the warmup and stretching tent to prepare for their matches or cool down afterwards, stretching out the tired muscles!

The heat didn’t seem to stop the little ones from trying out the tether tennis and Spike ball in the new onsite activation (available on the weekends!) – you are never too young to pick up a racquet!

Spectators enjoyed the shade where they could, and Stanely Park gave residents and visitors alike a welcome oasis in the heart of the city.
